Alien Invasion for PalmOS

What is Alien Invasion?

Alien Invasion is a shoot-'em-up game for PalmOS 3.0 and above. Shoot the aliens while avoiding their bombs. As you go through the levels, you will find more aliens, more bombs and the game speeds up.

Installing Alien Invasion

Alien Invasion is installed just like any other PalmOS program. The .PRC file should be installed via HotSync, e.g. by double-clicking on the program in Windows Explorer. When you next HotSync with your PC, the file will be copied to your Palm device. On the Palm, the icon is named, AlienInvader because of the limited application titles displayed via the PalmOS launcher.

Using Alien Invasion

Once you have installed Alien Invasion, its icon will appear in your Unfiled programs and All programs lists within the Palm Launcher. When you launch the program, it immediately begins the game at level 1. Menu options are available to provide help - instructions on how to play and a simple About screen. The game pauses while these menu options are displayed.

You can pause the game by pressing the Page Up and Page Down keys and press them again to resume play. Selecting the program's menu also pauses the game until the menu selection has been processed. Move the gun left or right by pressing the outside buttons on the Palm and fire by pressing either of the inner buttons.

To terminate the game, simply click on the Launcher icon to return to the Palm Launcher application.
