Upland Steppe (Full Day)

This area is very good for steppe birds and has shallow lagoons
in season. This is 'the' place to see Great Bustard

which is almost unmissable. It is also good for Little Bustard,
Black Bellied Sandgrouse, Pin-Tailed Sandgrouse and occasionally Dupont's Lark.

Golden Eagle, Booted Eagle, Marsh Harrier, Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Goshawk,

Kestrel, Peregrine, Great Bustard, Little Bustard, Stone Curlew, Black Bellied Sandgrouse,

Pin Tailed Sandgrouse, Crested Lark, Thekla Lark, Woodlark, Lesser Short Toed Lark,
Calandra Lark, Dupont’s Lark, Black Wheatear, Wren, Blue Tit, Crested Tit,
Short Toed Treecreeper, Jay, Red Billed Chough, Carrion Crow, Raven, Rock Sparrow,
Corn Bunting and Rock Bunting.

Spring/Summer/Autumn

Quail, Short Toed Eagle, Black Kite, Montagu's Harrier, Lesser Kestrel, Hobby,

Gull Billed Tern, Black Tern, Whiskered Tern, Turtle Dove,
Cuckoo, Great Spotted Cuckoo, Scops Owl, Red Necked Nightjar,
Hoopoe, Bee-eater, Roller, Short Toed Lark, Red Rumped Swallow, Tawny Pipit,
Tree Pipit, Nightingale, Redstart, Wheatear, Black Eared Wheatear,
Spectacled Warbler, Reed Warbler, Great Reed Warbler, Melodious Warbler,
Isabelline Warbler, Bonelli's Warbler, Firecrest, Spotted Flycatcher,
Pied Flycatcher, Woodchat Shrike and Golden Oriole.

Winter

Pintail, Wigeon, Teal, Tufted Duck, Red Kite, Hen Harrier, Merlin,
Crane, Short Eared Owl, Skylark, Water Pipit, Meadow Pipit, Redwing,

Fieldfare, Brambling, Siskin and Reed Bunting.

Vagrants and Rarities

Cream Coloured Courser bred in the area in 2012.
